Confessions of a Dr. Pepper Addict Attempting to Quit.

Motivation is hard to come by. Nothing in this world would have ever made me consider to stop drinking Dr. Pepper! Not the calories, not the health issue my almost Doctor little brother the Bug insisted on scaring me with, and not the millions of comments of people insisting my habits sucked!

I had Dr. Pepper for breakfast, and Dr. Pepper for Lunch and two Dr. Peppers for dinner and Dr. Pepper in between meals and well one last Dr. Pepper right before bed because who didn't love a nice relaxing bubbly beverage after breakfast!

Water was something I hardly ever drank, it had been slowly replaced by Dr. Pepper.
I hate to admit it but I could on occasions feel my heart race and my veins feel stiff as if blood had turned in to a sort of paste. not that i worried about it, when i felt that way i simply took it as a reminder to drink a glass of water to smooth things out a bit

Still I didn't stop. I drank and drank and drank!

If anyone wanted me to smile all they had to do was give me a glass of crushed ice and Dr. Pepper! Dr. Pepper was all I needed I could even skip whole meals if I had a Dr. Pepper in its place.

But then one day I decided to take a trip to Europe!
Yes Europe and along the planning and investigating and what not! I discovered through my almost Sister friend that Dr. Pepper is nearly impossible to obtain in Europe!!! I began to have a panic attack!!!!

Finally the day came I had to admit I needed to quit if I had any chance of enjoying my trip which would happen in seven months! After 27 years of nonstop Dr. Pepper drinking I needed to get started!!!

So here it goes, Ill keep you posted on the progress!!!
